The Waterfront - Tongan Wedding

Alloyfold delivered 20 Farmhouse Tables to Waterfront Lodge in Tonga for a wedding in September 2025. The venue's Executive Director was planning her daughter's wedding and needed furniture that would create an elegant tropical celebration. Waterfront Lodge is regarded as one of Tonga's finest private accommodation and event destinations, located on the waterfront in Nuku'alofa.

The Farmhouse Table combines style with practicality. The dark wood finish suited the tropical setting, and each table seats 6-8 people. The legs fold up and lock under the table for easy storage, and the solid wood build means they last for years of regular use.

Shipping from New Zealand to Tonga was the main challenge. Alloyfold stored the tables for several months until the venue was ready, then successfully delivered them to the Pacific Islands and worked with the venue to set everything up.

The wedding setup looked stunning under an outdoor tent with string lights. The Farmhouse tables were beautifully styled with gold plates, white tablecloths, and greenery down the center. The dark wood stood out against the white linens and created elegant seating for over 100 guests.

This project demonstrated Alloyfold's capability for international installations to Pacific Island venues, and the Farmhouse tables continue serving Waterfront Lodge for future events.
