Warehouse Fire = Opportunity?

11 December 2006

Bart Nye of PRIME TIME PARTY RENTALS, OH lost his entire inventory of chairs in a warehouse fire last month.

While the circumstances were far from ideal they did give him an opportunity. An opportunity to replace his inventory with any folding chair on the market in North America. He chose the ALLOYFOLD 4. I asked him why: "Because Antony sells them and he's a great guy." "Bart that's not helpful" "OK, I bought your chair again because this time instead of buying on price I bought for quality". "What about our chair is quality?" "The aluminum sides don't scratch and rust so they look nice longer with zero maintenance, or a lot less maintenance anyway." If you want to know a little more about the pedigree of this product and the company that sells it have a look at the Supplier Profile feature on page 98 of November's Rental Management Mag. Or you can read it here: http://www.alloyfold.com Also, just published on our site is a somewhat more candid if not contentious article by yours truly, submitted to Rental Management (but not published) entitled "A Unique Vendor's Perspective" and is Alloyfold's take on doing business in North America. It can be found at http://www.alloyfold.com And finally, it will frighten some and delight others, but we have just released our Milano bistro chair in metallic gold. See the new MILANO GOLD in RMM (p96), at booth 5244 at Atlanta in February, or at http://www.alloyfold.com/products/contract-chairs/milano. Or call me on 1-888-368 7713 (USA) to chat.
